The museum was nice and contained many artifacts of ancient Mexico City. The history is fascinating. However, the present is even more amazing. The show started as I left the museum and walked out into the dusk of downtown Mexico City and into one of the world largest squares. Local traditional dancers spun and twirled and drummers hammered and pulsed infectious rhythms that led about fifty dancers into the night.
Actually, I have no idea if this is traditional dance of Mexico City, but and incredible find for the evening. I would eventually crash the fashion show celebrating 200 years of Mexico’s fashion — photos coming soon.
I miss Mexico so much, I should have stayed for the celebrations.
Actually, I was pulled away myself from this video. I would have stayed there all night watching the dancing. I ended up crashing the event “200 Years of Mexican Fashion.”
I’ve never actually been to Mexico but I hear lots of good things about the place, especially the celebrations, coastline and islands.

Hi David,
Mexico has so many things to see, especially culture, that it would be a good idea to plan a couple of trips.

I really enjoyed watching the video – they look like they are having so much fun. Makes me wish I was there to so that I could take part. It did impress me how fit the dancers are.
