This photo was taken in Paraty (pronounced Par-a-chee), Brazil. It was one of those days where the sky was clear and the light was warm. I really did nothing. Point and click. The lady had been standing there already. When I walked over to show her the masterpiece, she seemed unimpressed.
The town is an interesting due to its age, history, and Masonic references. Paraty is also particularly photogenic town.
The honorable mentions photos from Brazil, below, features photo of one of the main drags in Paraty, but it is hard to tell as every drag has a certain flair to them. The other picture is of the most famous statue in Brazil and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. While I disagree with the statue having been voted “Wonder” selection a couple of years back, there is no doubt this is a classic for anyone visiting Rio.
